Si hay algo que disfruto, es ver las olimpiadas, mis disciplinas favoritas son la natación, la gimnasia y más recientemente el voleibol (de playa como de salón).
Estos juegos de Sochi 2014 son los primeros que veo de invierno y solamente los veo (como muchos) por el patinaje artístico. Una belleza.
El campeonato mundial de natación que fue hace un año en Barcelona no tuve oportunidad de verlo, todo debido a mi tonta compañía de cable; pero sí pude ver el de 2011 en Shangai y ahí fue mi primer acercamiento a los clavados con parado de manos, pura intensidad.
En los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres 2012 conocí dos nombres que tal vez jamás olvide: Bronte Barratt y Ranomi Kromowidjojo. La primera es australiana y su nombre me evocó a Barack Obama y la segunda, holandesa la recuerdo por el reto que representó a todos los comentaristas poder pronunciar bien su nombre.
Un momento inolvidable fue cuando el sudafricano Chad Le Clos venció a la leyenda Michael Phelps en los 200 m mariposa.
Dejo el recordatorio de que el Campeonato Mundial de Natación del 2017 será en Guadalajara, así que empezaré a ahorrar para poder ver a todos los nadadores y clavadistas que tanto admiro.(:
